The exciting Varusschlacht Museum in the Osnabrück region is now accessible to cyclists on a new cycle path: The Germanenroute connects the museum and Park Kalkriese with the also new "Germanenland" in the Alfsee Holiday and Recreational Park. The museum is family-friendly 17 kilometers away and shows where and why Varus' legions were defeated by the warriors of Arminius in the year 9 AD.
