TERRA.track Kneipp to go

This path would have been completely to the liking of Pastor Kneipp: it encounters various places for water-treading, leads through magnificent natural landscapes, and gets the circulation going with the ascent to the 331-meter-high Dörenberg. However, it starts very calmly on the Tegelwiese near the Iburg Castle. On the one-kilometer-long adventure path Water.Nature.Environment., you can discover the animal and plant world of different habitats at six stations: at a rainwater retention basin that has become a species-rich habitat for dragonflies, amphibians, and others, at the Kolbach with a first water-treading point, on a colorful wildflower meadow, and in the quiet shade of the forest, where a wave lounger comfortably allows a view into the canopy and sky.

The journey continues on the TERRA.track, one of more than 80 circular routes of the Nature and UNESCO Geopark TERRA.vita. They were created to open up special natural spaces and windows into the earth's history. This path also offers great views - for example, during the descent from the Dörenberg, you can repeatedly see the Iburg Castle.
