In the smallest space, the grass moor forms an impressive ecological diversity and has been designated as a nature reserve since 1937 as the remains of a formerly widespread dune and moor heath landscape. Along the approximately 5-kilometer-long hiking trail, panels provide information on nature conservation and landscape history in the grass moor.
