No 9 Circular trail Zwickenbachtal - Sun path

For the start, we first orient ourselves on the "Sun Path" heading south. Open field on the right, about 150 meters of meadow on the left. Then on the left starts a forest area, on the right still open field. At the first tree, at the corner of the forest, we can see a large "9" in the distance. After 200 meters, we turn left into the forest and the trail markings lead us to the Zwickenbach. On the next clearing, we come across the "Kerli Hut" built in 2019. In the further course, we cross the Zwickenbach again and soon reach the hiking junction "Römerschanzen." A short stretch along the stream and then we leave the stream valley to the right and come across the shelter at the "Stone Cross." There, we turn sharply to the right onto the developed forest path, passing the drinking water reservoir for the city of Melle. In the further course of the trail markings, we reach the Hermann-Unbefunde-Straße. From here, there is a great view of the Melle city center with its distinctive 2 church towers. We then turn sharply right again uphill, and we return to the Sun Path with its beautiful views to the left over the Osnabrück Land (the Grönengau). After another 2 km, this path leads us back to our starting point at the Weberhaus.
