Bersenbrücker-Land-Weg

The hiking trail leads through the adventure region Artland and the adjacent Varus region. This trail is located in the area of the former district of Bersenbrück, which became part of the Osnabrück district in 1972. The trail markings are clearly visible everywhere. A white sign on a red background that symbolizes the slightly hilly to wide landscape. This diverse and varied landscape would be reason enough to discover the hiking trail stage by stage. But the culture and history of the region offer many more attractions: old farms with magnificent gables, churches, castles, and historic village centers. The country path connects all 18 municipalities in the Bersenbrücker Land and always runs close to the villages, making a short detour into the village possible at any time.
