Tour 07 - The Classic

During this tour, you will depart from Rees on the Rhine Cycle Route towards Wesel. Along the way, you will pass through the districts of Haffen and Mehr before reaching Bislich to cross over to Xanten with the ferry "Keer Tröch II". From the Xanten landing stage, you have the opportunity to take a detour to the historic city center of Xanten, which is about 3 km away. The bike tour continues from the landing stage past the Xanten South and North Seas, known as a paradise for water sports, swimming, entertainment, and relaxation. Finally, the ferry "Rääße Pöntje" will take you back to Rees.

Please note: This tour is only possible in conjunction with the ferries "Rääße Pöntje" and "Keer Tröch II". The ferry season starts on Palm Sunday (Sunday before Easter) and ends on the last Sunday in October. During this time, the ferries operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For more information on the ferries, visit www.niederrheinfaehre.de and www.bislich.de.
