Hike near Meggerdorf

9.4 km - 1:50 h | Starting point: On the "Hölken" road in Meggerdorf

From the starting point, walk west from the "Hölken" road (sign "Hausnummern 5 bis 11"). You come to the wide lowlands of the Alte Sorge. Turn left at a T-junction and walk along the south side of the Colsrak moor. You pass an information board and take a sharp left turn onto a grassy path. Walk around the moor until a path bends off to the right to the south. You come to the information board again, turn left and return to the T-junction. Continue left here and reach the Fünfmühlendeich, where you turn right. In Meggerdorf, take the first road that turns right, after approx. 150 m turn right again and return to the starting point. The paths on and in the Colsrak moor are wet and difficult to walk on in wet weather. If you turn right at the T-junction before the moor, the route is shortened to approx. 5.2 km.
