Hike through the Idstedt enclosure

6.7 km - 1:20 h | Starting point: Parking lot at Idstedt Museum

From the parking lot, the Alte Landstraße leads to the Landstraße Holzkrug. Turn left and then immediately left again onto a forest path. The path initially runs alongside and in the forest and a little later between meadows. Where the path meets a forest again, turn right in a left-hand bend onto a path that leads you into the forest. This path bends to the left and then continues straight ahead in a southerly direction. Follow the "Pilgerroute" signs until you reach the "Idstedtwege" road. Turn right onto the road. After 650 m, this road bends sharply to the left. 100 m further on, turn right onto a path marked by two stone bollards. Then turn left onto the second path to follow the route to the Idstedter Räuberhöhle megalithic tomb. The Arenholzfeld country road runs directly behind the megalithic tomb.
