From Bremberg, we first head towards Kahler Asten. We pass the most famous mountain in the Sauerland region at almost full height and then continue cycling through Neuastenberg down into the valley and up to Mollseifen. A detour to the weather station at Astenturm is always worth it. From Mollseifen, we continue through the forest with some easy climbs until we reach Trambach. From here, we follow the border to Hesse until we reach Hallenberg after a rapid descent. From Hallenberg to Liesen, the path leads us through the fields, and then from Liesen back into the forest steadily climbing up to Winterberg. However, the toughest climb comes shortly after Liesen.
