Schwarzecker Rundweg

To climb to the summit of the Schwarzeck from Lohberg, you need to be in very good physical condition. At the beginning, the trail leads leisurely through the village of Schwarzenbach, but then it climbs steadily and steeply uphill through a dense spruce forest. Once you reach the top of the ridge, you will come across the Waldwiesmarterl - a memorial to the Waldverein for its deceased members. Along the ridge on a narrow and branching path, you soon reach the silver cross of the Schwarzeck summit with its panoramic views. The Lamer Winkel is literally at your feet here - very beautiful views in all directions and steep and bizarre rock formations make this tour challenging. We follow the path along the ridge to the Reischflecksattel. Here is another opportunity for a nice snapshot before we start the descent to Lohberghütte.
