Ferchenbachweg

The hiking trail starts at the overview board in the center of Sattelbogen. Passing well-preserved Waidler houses, the trail leads uphill to Ritterstraße. Take care when crossing Heroldstraße. We leave the Sattelbogener Hof on the left. We also leave the outdoor pool behind us. After 600 meters, we reach Atzenzell on Zeller Straße. We cross the pretty village with its chapel. At the junction with Ferchenbachweg, the hiking trail also follows this road to Schönferchen. Before the pond, the hiking trail turns left into the forest. A dirt track is reached on footpaths, which we take to the right. Over the bridge at Ferchenbach, the hiking trail leads into the forest called Thannet. After the end of the forest, the first houses of the village of Thannet are already in sight. Following the road to Sattelbogen, we return to the starting point.
