Next to Café Hastreiter downhill towards Furth im Wald - at the right-hand bend turn left into Mauthstraße (tip: Meidinger fruit distillery) - cross the state road straight ahead into Lärchenweg, after the narrow left-hand bend turn right into Pflaumermühlweg to Leming - left at the local chapel St. Leonhard to the hiking signpost (Ek3 to Stachesried) - Gredbankerl photo point - art pavilion - Stachesried Castle (refreshment stops: Leonhard Inn, Café zur Klause) - from the main road turn left towards Seugenhof and immediately at the village and Kneipp fountain turn right into Rohrweg and to the "Künisches Gebirge" touchstone - left downhill - just before the state road turn right into Weiherweg - via Spathenweg to the footpath and cycle path to Warzenried (refreshment stops: Gasthaus Altmann, Hofstub'n, Hotel Böhmerwald) - follow the main road (Siegmund-Adam-Straße) until after the Hotel Böhmerwald - turn left onto Böhmerwaldstraße - turn off onto the gravel footpath and cycle path to the state border (tip: Chambtal cycle path to Großaign with a short detour via Brandweg to the Schwirzer monument - turn right into Schöneichenstraße and follow to the end - left to Kleinaign until just before the town sign - right to the Drachensee viewing tower - hiking trail Fu2 to Kleinaign - follow signs to Eschlkam, Kleinaigner Straße - Waldschmidtplatz (tip: Waldschmidt exhibition in the Waldschmidthaus - refreshment stops: Café Hastreiter, Gasthof zur Post)
