Waldkapellenweg

From the starting point at Rathausplatz, we head south across the Schwarzach and then immediately onto Uferstraße. We follow this road until we reach the Döferinger Weiher pond and then turn off in the direction of Elmesbierl. We follow the markings and come to Döfering. Passing the church of St. Ägidius, we reach the crossroads on the district road. We cross this and then follow the "Goldsteig" hiking trail via Mühlbierl to Rhan. Once there, you can refresh yourself in the Rhaner Bad. Crossing the village road to the south, through the underpass, you reach a wooded area. The markings point along the edge of the forest along the Stations of the Cross to the Rhan forest chapel. From there, follow the same route back to the village center. At the village adventure house and the playground, the path turns left. After the gravel path, head for the path alongside the main road. The markings then take us to the Schwarzach, which we cross. The route then continues along the Scharzach to Schönthal. When we reach the Alte Chamer Straße, we turn left past the church and monastery. After a few meters we reach the starting point of our hike.
