Hüttnweg

From the market square in Falkenstein (overview board), we walk along Krankenhausstraße past the ski lift and then turn right towards Geißbachtal. We cross the Geißbach and then turn left uphill a little steeply to reach a little-used municipal road. After a short stretch, we reach Mistlhof (Altes Waidlerhaus) and then turn right into the forest towards Oberforst ("Zur Hütt'n"). Shortly before Oberforst, the path branches off to the left in the direction of Saffelberg. From there, we walk via Adlmühl and Seidlmühl to Völling and along the cycle path in the direction of Falkenstein to Schellmühl. There we keep left and walk up to the ski lift and via Krankenhausstraße back to the starting point. Worth seeing: Geißbach bridge - wild and romantic stream valley, "Altes Waidlerhaus" in Mistlhof, above Saffelberg magnificent view over to Falkenstein Castle
