Schlosshügelweg

The starting point is at Gasthof Russenbräu in Tiefenbach. Leave the village via "Waldbadstraße" and "An der Walk". The route leads up the Schneeberg slopes to Altenschneeberg. There it is worth making a detour to the so-called "Schlosshügel", from where you have a wonderful view of the surrounding area. The route then continues via Hoffeld, where the natural monument "Hoffelder Linde" cannot be overlooked. This is the mightiest tree in the area with a circumference of up to 5.6 m at its weakest point. Irlach is approached on idyllic paths and forest trails. After this village, the route leads through forests and meadows back to the starting point.
