Goldsteig-Verbindung Nr. 9D Oberpfälzer Seenweg vom Erzweg zum Goldsteig

Since 2015, the Upper Palatinate Lakes Trail has connected the Jurasteig via the Erzweg with the Goldsteig and enables unrestricted hiking enjoyment from Franconian Switzerland through the Bavarian Jura to the Bavarian Forest. On around 70 kilometers you will experience the Amberg-Sulzbacher Land, the Upper Palatinate Lake District and the district of Cham from their most beautiful sides. You will be accompanied by fire, earth, air and water on the four day stages: the municipality of Ebermannsdorf stands for the history of "white smoke to black gold", in the Upper Palatinate Lake District you will experience the exciting history of Bavaria's largest rock cellar labyrinth and the transformation of a former open-cast coal mine into a leisure paradise for nature lovers. The Upper Palatinate Lakes Trail takes you across (wild herb) meadows to Lake Eixendorf with its many leisure and recreational opportunities. Enjoy the views and insights along the way and hike between the lakes and rivers! Experience fish and nature and immerse yourself in the local fairytale world. As an access route to the Goldsteig quality hiking trail, the Upper Palatinate Lakes Trail is continuously marked and signposted in both directions with the blue Goldsteig signet.
