The hiking trail starts at Rathausplatz in the direction of Schönbuchener Straße. At the junction with Schönbuchener Straße, we keep right. At the next junction, we turn left into Hohenbogenstraße towards Watzlsteg. At Watzlsteg station, we cross the Regenbrücke bridge on the left. The hiking trail runs north of Lutzenmühle via the Lamer-Winkel-Arber cycle path. In Bahnhofstraße in Hohenwarth, the hiking trail branches off to the right towards the center of Hohenwarth.
