Lambachweg

The starting point for this hike is the village square in Rittsteig. After the church, we follow Oberkaltenhofstraße until it turns right and take the mountain path that leads us to Neurittsteig. In Neurittsteig we cross the tarred road, walk across the hiking parking lot to the wooden log cabin of the WSV Rittsteig, after this we turn left into the small tarred road, which we follow to the next property. After this property, we turn left and follow hiking trails Nk23, Nk24 and Nk25 for approx. 1.5 km. At the fork, we continue right to the rest area at the Red Cross. Here we separate from Nk25 and continue straight on downhill towards Tauschwald. At a fork in the path, which is also a wood storage area, we take care to keep right towards Lambach, where we arrive at the Kolping vacation home (no catering). From Lambach, hiking trail La3 continues to the Osser and Osserschutzhaus. We can also take the footpath to Lam (4 km) and take the VLC-RBO bus route 590 back to Absetz. From there, hike back to Rittsteig via the Nk25.
