Arbersee-Tour

From the Panoramapark/Kurpark in the direction of the village center and then downhill on Arberstraße through the village to the junction to Thürnstein. Turn left and follow the Lamer Winkel-Arber cycle path via Thürnstein, Neuschrenkenthal, Schwarzenbach, Lohberghütte and Sommerau. The signposted cycle path continues to the Reißbrücke parking lot and then 800m uphill towards the lake. At the junction there, do not follow the cycle path signs, but stay on the tarred road. After a further 2km, leave the road on the left to the Kleiner Arbersee/Seehäusl, where you will reach the first stage destination in about 200m. The route continues to the left of the lake, about 200m along the shore and then left towards Mooshütte. After about 400-500m you come to a gravel road on which you ride 200m downhill (do not follow the hiking trail markings here!). Turn right at the crossroads, where after a small ascent (800m) you reach the Mooshütte. Pass the inn and continue uphill for just under 2km on gravel towards Brennes. A flat section (3.5km) follows to the left on the state road to the Scheiben parking lot. Cross the parking lot to the opposite end and follow the signs to Eggersberg on the forest path. Over the next kilometer you have to climb about 80 meters to the highest point of the tour before you can enjoy the descent via Eggersberg (continuous signposting) - length over 9km - to Eggersberg forest road, then tar to the state road. Turn left here onto the state road 2154. Turn right immediately after the Lohberghütte sign. Past the Bavarian Forest Animal Park, in the opposite direction to the outward route, on the Lamer Winkel-Arber cycle path via Schwarzenbach, Neuschrenkenthal and Thürnstein back to Lam.
