The circular hiking trail to the Großer Riedelstein starts at the hiking parking lot near Eschlsaign. Follow the hiking markings, first along the forest road, then uphill on the hiking trail to the Großer Riedelstein. The natural monument "Waldschmidtdenkmal", which was erected in honor of the local writer Maximilian Waldschmidt, is enthroned on the summit of the Großer Riedelstein. The hiking trail continues to the Kleiner Riedelstein. From here, the descent is via Eck to the starting point at the hiking parking lot near Eschlsaign. You can stop for refreshments at the Berggasthof Eck.
