Haselmühle-Brünstweg

From the hiking board at Gasthaus Leonhard, we walk past the fire station and cross the road from Eschlkam to Neukirchen b.Hl.Blut at Gasthaus "Zur Luft". At the crossroads you can visit the art pavilion, which is open all year round during the day. Straight ahead we come to the Haselmühle estate on a tarred road. The Ek4 hiking trail runs past the Haselmühle estate on the left and continues along a field path between meadows, over the Haselbach stream to the edge of the forest. We walk along the edge of the forest on the right for approx. 300 m until we reach the East Bavarian Way of St. James, which leads over the footbridge of the Haselbach and comes from the direction of Eschlkam via Leming. Both hiking trails now run together on a forest path through the shady woodland of the Brünstwald forest. Shortly before the end of the forest, the path turns left and after 400 m we come to a low-traffic tarred road, past some estates in the district of Brünst, over the Haselbach and back to the starting point in Stachesried.
