MTB-Tourenvorschlag Arrach - Haibühl - Kolmstein

From the Arrach tourist information office, follow the Lamer-Winkel-Arber cycle path towards Lam; at km 3.4 (after Frahelsbruck station) turn left under the underpass (follow the Ar3 markings to the center of Haibühl!); on the Ar 3 hiking trail through the village of Frahelsbruck; turn left at the main road and up the hill to Frahels (500 m); turn left at the Hinterfrahels junction; from here continue on the field path past the deer enclosure and through the following woodland on the markings; at 5.8 km you come to a tarred road again, which is always to be followed in the direction of Haibühl (Ar3); when you reach the center of the village (6.4 km), cross the state road at the Meindl inn (refreshments available!) and follow the Schwarzhölzlstraße (from here follow the Ar5/Ar7 markings!); after approx. 200 m stay left on the markings; after the Lohberger inn (refreshments available) continue straight on at the crossroads (km 7.7); after a further 300 m leave the Ar5/Ar7 markings and take the tarred road (Kolmsteiner Weg); after approx. 200 m the tarred road ends in an approx. 1.0 km long forest path; at the end of this (km 9.2) take the forest path (Kreuzweg, approx. 300 m difficult and steep) up to the Kolmstein pilgrimage church (km 9.5); here you can stop for refreshments at the Kolmsteiner Hof inn; the further path leads past the church on the left towards Höllhöhe (Nk9/Ar7, Komsteiner Höhenweg); after approx. 1.8 km after crossing the Höllkreuz ski slope, you reach the state road at Höllhöhe; immediately before the road, turn left onto the Ar7 hiking trail downhill to Kummersdorf (follow the markings in the forest!); past the Kummersdorf riding stables (13.4 km), turn left at the crossroads at the vacation village onto the tarred road towards Ottenzell; follow the municipal road to the center of the Ottenzell district. Turn right at the crossroads and follow Mittagssteinstraße to the Talweg junction; take the Talweg slightly downhill towards the Lamer Winkel sewage treatment plant until, shortly before the end of the road, a dirt track leads off to the left towards an old wooden bridge. Cross this; directly before the state road (km 16.2), take the field path on the left and cycle between the road and the rain until you reach the Edeka supermarket (at the traffic lights) (km 17.4); pass the crossroads in the direction of Arrach back to the tourist information office;
