Osser-Tour

From Panoramapark/Kurpark in the direction of the town center. Opposite the market square, between two larger estates, Lambacher Straße leads 4.2km via Oberschmelz to Lambach. At the hikers' parking lot, turn right up a 1.4 km long ascent on the asphalt road, where you turn left onto the second forest road. After 1km on the forest road, keep right at the forest clearing (steeper ascent, approx. 300m). Turn left on the plateau. This is followed by a loop on the Horizontalsteig with a view of the Osserschutzhaus. The descent leads past the junction to Kornschlag to the next path, marked to the right as a blue route. At the next junction, the first circle closes and the already familiar ascent descends to the left this time. Before reaching the forest clearing, follow the forest road to the right and then immediately take the loop to the left downhill back to the tarred road. Return to the Lambach hiking parking lot and continue right past the Familienhotel Lambach on the Gläserner Steig and La5 via Stierberg and Hinterschmelz to Vorderschmelz. Turn right here at the crossroads to Engelshütt. From this part of the village (keep left), take the state road via Holzmühle and Irlmühle back to Lam.
