Goldsteig S 08 Verzweigung Kulzer Moos – Neunburg v.W.

Shortly after Kulz and just after Prackendorfer Moos, the hiker comes to the fork in the Goldsteig trail. At a junction in the middle of the forest, the trail splits into the northern and southern routes. The more southerly route is by no means the easier route - on the contrary: while the rear tour winds its way slowly but steadily upwards, the route via the southern foothills of the forest is characterized by many ascents and descents, but also has many advantages and, above all, magnificent distant views. Via Dautersdorf, the route takes a leisurely but extremely scenic route to the Schönbuchen pilgrimage chapel and from here - downhill on beautiful forest paths and trails - to Kröblitz. The Goldsteig continues without any significant effort until you reach a signpost that leads you on a short detour to the legendary Druidenstein. Back on the trail, you soon reach the palatine residence of Neunburg vorm Wald with its beautiful, historic old town center.
