Starting from the parking lot at the Esper, the trail leads along the Regen to Kienmühle, where an old water wheel can be seen on the left. The path branches off to the right to the Sackmann bridge. After crossing the bridge, the path leads to the right to the parking lot at Heilbrünnl, where you can connect to other hiking trails.
