The starting point is Traitsching. An interesting feature of the route: here we come across - and this is a rarity - old buildings almost everywhere. This applies to the hamlet of Boden as well as to the idyllic mountain village of Sattelpeilnstein with its parish church of St. Peter and Paul and castle with four towers and medieval castle stables. In Sitzenberg, Birnbrunn and Tragenschwand, forest dwellings line the route. The high Sattelbogen with the parish church of St. Nikolaus is visible from afar. In Obergoßzell, a so-called Taferlbaum, i.e. a tree with votive offerings, awaits us. The final stop on this tour is Traitsching.
