The hiking trail starts at the town hall square in Grafenwiesen and runs along Berghäuser Straße. Shortly before the sports field, turn right onto a small path into Abendbergweg. From here, we follow the markings along the edge of the forest. Pass the chapel and follow the path straight ahead until you reach a junction, turn left here - then keep right at the next fork until you reach the road - cross the main road - continue uphill following the markings through the forest until you reach a tarred road - follow this road briefly and soon turn left into the forest. Several hiking trails now follow the same route towards Reitenberg. From here, there are various options for climbing the Kaitersberg.
