Burgweg

From the starting point at the village square in the center of the village, we walk north along Hohenbogenstraße for 200 meters, then turn left and shortly afterwards turn right again onto Schulstraße towards Lichteneck. After walking through Lichteneck, we enter the forest, where we soon turn right towards the ruins of Lichtenegg Castle. Every year in July, the Lichtenegg Castle Festival, which is famous far beyond the borders of Eastern Bavaria, takes place in the courtyard of the castle ruins. A path then takes us to a forest road, which we follow to the right. We soon reach the Ri1 hiking trail. This now takes us downhill to the starting point.
