The starting point of our hike is close to the town at Dörflasplatz near the Gerberhaus in Marktredwitz. First we follow the path through the Auenpark in the direction of Waldershof, cross the state road 2121 after approx. 1.5 km and continue on a meadow path to Rosenhammer. Behind the village, you can already see the Waldershof church. At the end of the forest road, we rejoin the road to Waldershof and walk through a settlement, at the end of which there is a beautiful group of birch trees with a cross. We follow the field path to Neumühle, cross a bridge and reach the Mascherberg after a short distance. Please pay close attention to the markings in the wooded area of the Mascherberg: our hike continues in the direction of Walbenreuth!
