Via the so-called "Himmelsleiter" up to Voithenberg, continue uphill on the forest road, crossing the ski lift slopes (viewpoints) to the state border, then along the border trail up to the "Drei Wappen" (902 m, Unterstellhütte). The coats of arms of the Electorate of Bavaria, the Kingdom of Bohemia and the Duchy of Palatinate with the year 1766 are carved into the rocks there from the left. Continue via the Kreuzfelsen (938 m, highest point in the Gibacht massif, summit cross) to the Gibacht mountain inn (no refreshments available), the Reiseck (902 m, glass summit cross) and the Dachsriegel back to the Voithenberger Straße hiking parking lot. From the tourist border crossing at Drei Wappen there is a connection to the hiking trail on the Czech side up to Čerchov mountain (1042 m, viewing tower, refreshments available).
