Zum Haidstein

The hiking trail starts at the town hall square and heads towards Schönbuchener Straße. We then keep left towards the train station/state road 2140. Passing the pedestrian traffic lights, we come to the Grafenwiesen spa gardens. We pass the community center and walk parallel to the railroad line. We then follow the path to the right over the two rain bridges in the direction of Zittenhof. We keep left at the hiking sign. In Zittenhof, we come across a small chapel with a mighty lime tree, which is protected as a natural monument. In front of this ensemble, we turn right towards Voggendorf. At the junction with the "Hauser Weg" road, we follow the road towards Voggendorf-Ortsmitte-FFW-Haus. Now we keep right and follow the Kettersdorfer Weg. At the next settlement, we turn left and walk through the forest towards Oberramsried and Ramsried. Take care when crossing the Ramsried road. We continue to Liebenstein. The markings lead us to the Hotel Bayerwaldhof. At this building complex, the hiking sign points us in the direction of Haidstein. Together with many other markings, we now hike to Haidstein, where we can visit the pilgrimage church of St. Ulrich with its cross and enjoy the view over the Cham basin. Before returning along the same route, you have the opportunity to stop for refreshments at the hut.
