Perlseerundwanderweg

The Perlsee circular hiking trail is ideal for families with children. The Schwarzach reservoir in the shape of a pearl is located just outside Waldmünchen and can be approached or hiked directly from the town. As it is a circular hiking trail, you can start anywhere. Our tour here starts near the parking lot at the campsite, Alte Ziegelhütte. From there, you walk past the campsite and down to the natural high ropes course. The path leads past a place where children can play and run around to the Perlsee bridge. (Attention here: if you are traveling with a baby carriage, it must be lifted or pulled up the steps). Then follow the path - a paved lakeside path, which later continues as a boardwalk. On the southern side of the lake is the dam, where you will find benches for resting. Shortly afterwards, at the "Perlsee-Engel", there is another small parking lot, which is a good starting point. After about an hour's walk, you will return to the parking lot at the campsite. Take a look at the fantastic terrace of the Perlsee restaurant - where you can round off your hike with a fantastic view of Lake Perlsee. Tip: The lido is open in summer.
