Buchbergrundweg

From the starting point in Willmering, cross the railroad track in the direction of the town hall. After the administration building, the hiking trail turns left into Schulstraße. At the forest, the markings guide you into the forest. You then cross a meadow path for 50 meters. Immediately afterwards, the path leads through a wooded area. Just before the road, there is a man-high embankment to negotiate. Cross the road and the path immediately dips to the left into the forest. The Ww7 hiking trail now runs together with the Pandurensteig trail for some time. After passing a bench, a hiking signpost and a property, you come to another hiking signpost, where the Pandurensteig branches off to the left, but hiking trail Ww7 continues straight ahead on the path. Following the markings, you reach a babbling brook with a small water wheel. A bench next to it invites you to rest. After the water reservoir, turn left along the forest road. It is not long before you reach the Ch2 hiking trail. Together with this hiking trail, you continue through the forest in the direction of Schlammering. After the forest, a varied meadow landscape opens up to the hiker, criss-crossed by streams, ponds and hedges. You reach the village along the stream. In the center of Schlammering, you will come across a beautiful chapel and a whole series of death boards. The hiking trail then turns right into the Bürgermeister-Bucher-Weg. It goes uphill, past an overview board, benches and field crosses, into the forest. Forest and woodland paths lead to the parking lot with an overview board. On the way there, you can discover nature play equipment and other interesting features of the forest kindergarten. Back in the forest, the hiking trail now becomes more of a path. At the end of the path, you reach a number of death boards commemorating the deceased members of the Burgschützen club. After 800 meters on the forest road, you reach the already familiar hiking trail sign at the edge of the Buchberg forest via adjoining forest paths. From here, the return route to Willmering is identical to the outward route.
