Goldsteig S 15 Konzell – Sankt Englmar

The Goldsteig leaves Konzell through the valley floor. Zierling and Sicklasberg are stops on the way to the first refreshment stop, the Kreuzhaus. On this entertaining and scenically enchanting route through varied mixed forests, you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Cham-Further depression, among other things. From the Kreuzhaus (887 m), the route is easy and leads past the "Hansl Hüttn" via Riedelswald, Vornwald and Redlmühl to the Käsplatte (979 m). A beautiful forest path takes the hiker first to Kolmberg. The landscape becomes more and more like a primeval forest as the Goldsteig approaches the summit. The Käsplatten summit is on the right, about five minutes off the route. After a short break, continue to Hinterwies at the foot of the Pröller, and from here along the edge of the forest up to the mountain lift hut and the summit. Another break with a magnificent view at the summit cross of the Pröller, then the descent to Sankt Englmar, today's destination, begins.
