The sunrise seen from the Arberschutzhaus is impressive - so get out of bed early. Apart from that, there is no hurry on this day, because today "only" the 12 km descent down to Bayerisch Eisenstein is on the program. First you descend on typical forest paths to the Großer Arbersee lake, continuing along the Arberseebach stream to the Seebach loop in the Regental valley. From here you follow the markings, always along the Regen river, to the center of Bayerisch Eisenstein. The short stage leaves plenty of time for natural discoveries along the way: The lake wall above the Großer Arbersee, for example, is one of the oldest primeval forest areas in the Bavarian Forest.
