From the parking lot at the Großer Arbersee lake, we walk steadily uphill along the premium hiking trail "Goldsteig". Therefore, please take great care when walking or crossing the slopes. This tour is located in an area where the rare capercaillie can be found. Any small disturbance causes these large birds to flee, consuming enormous amounts of energy in the process. If disturbed regularly, this can lead to starvation.
