Rundweg Grafenried

The cross-border hike begins at the pilgrimage chapel in Steinlohe. Follow the road to the right downhill towards Mühlhäuser. At the crossroads at the former schoolhouse in Steinlohe, the trail branches off to the right and continues downhill to Mühlhäuser on hiking trail Tb9. In Mühlhäuser, follow the white-yellow-white markings along a meadow path to the Biberbach stream. Cross the stream via a stepping stone and cross the German-Czech border. On the Czech side, you first walk along a forest path through dense coniferous forest and finally reach a paved forest path. Follow this to the right. The path leads out of the forest, through pastureland to a crossroads near the vanished village of Anger (Úpor). The hiking trail continues with the white-yellow-white markings to the right towards Grafenried (Lučina). Information boards provide information about the history of the former village of Grafenried and its buildings, some of whose foundations have been excavated in recent years. From the former village square, follow the gravel path downhill, past the former Grafenried school and over the border to Untergrafenried. In Untergrafenried, the hiking trail with hiking trail Wm3 leads to the right between the first houses. A meadow path and a meadow take you to a small wooded area, which you cross. Coming out of the forest, turn left towards Ringberg, past a residential and farm building onto the road. Follow this road to the left and after a few meters turn right onto an agricultural path that leads back into the forest. Through the forest you come to a farmstead, Gagelwirt. Leave this on the left and follow the white-yellow-white signs to the right through the forest. You finally reach Kritzenthal via a small bridge. At the road, the hiking trail continues to the right and after a few meters branches off to the right towards Mausthurm. Along the edge of the forest, the path leads back into the forest. You leave the forest at Zollhaus. Continue to the right following the road to Steinlohe. The starting and finishing point, the pilgrimage chapel in Steinlohe, can already be seen.
