Ohrsberg-Rundweg

The Ohrsberg circular trail impresses with its easy accessibility and proximity to the city. Just 5 minutes from the train station, you are already in the middle of the forest. If you take a short detour to the tower, you will be rewarded with a comprehensive view of the city and the Neckar valley.

Start at the top end of the panoramic trail. Follow the "red R" along the entire route. Initially, the trail heads slightly uphill in a north-easterly direction on a gravel path until you reach the information board on the historical origins of the Ohrsberg after approx. 250m. The route now leads you slightly uphill above the Eberbach cemetery - past the Jewish cemetery on the left of the path - until you reach the junction towards the tower. Here the path turns into a narrow path. The detour to the observation tower at 236 m above sea level

via a 200 m long, ascending forest path is definitely worthwhile. Continuing along the circular path, shortly after the turn-off to the tower, you will reach the eastern access to the circular path via a number of steps from Jahnplatz. As you continue to follow the "red R", you will reach the north side of the Ohrsberg a little downhill. Here you continue above the buildings of the "Neuer Weg" on a flat stretch until you reach the starting point on the Panoramaweg via a stairway.
