The hike starts at the hiking parking lot in Freudental, near the famous Hügelland hilltop sofa. Here you can put your feet up at the end of your tour.

Your route continues to the magnificent Freudental Castle. Nestled in a picturesque park landscape, the castle tells stories from days long past. As you admire the impressive architecture, you can sense the spirit of the past that surrounds this historical gem.The path gently leads you on to the former synagogue, a place of profound history and culture. The synagogue, once the spiritual heart of Freudental's Jewish community, now stands as a symbol of remembrance and encounter. A short stop here allows you to reflect on the significance of this place and deepen your connection to the history of the region.

Leaving the town center behind you, you pass the Mare Monument, a tribute to the agrarian soul of Freudental. The monument is a reminder of the times when horse breeding played a central role in rural life. It embodies the deep connection between the people and their agriculture and animals.After you have left the monument behind you, the path leads you past fields back to the starting point of your tour.
