Bärlauchweg

The "Wild Garlic Trail" is a themed trail in the Neckartal-Odenwald Nature Park. On the typical information boards, you will find interesting facts about the garlic-scented herb and the eventful development of the village of Pleutersbach in a graphically sophisticated form.

The hike combines both themed trails, combines active enjoyment of the landscape with facts worth knowing and thus provides a real overview of the country and its people - past and present.

Picking wild garlic allowed!
Most of the trail runs directly along the Neckar through meadows and open spaces.

Start on the south bank below the Neckar bridge in Neckarwimmersbach at the first signpost on the "Wild Garlic Trail". Follow the Neckar downstream via the "Neckartal-Radweg" to Pleutersbach. At the bridge over the namesake Pleutersbach, you can follow this approx. 1.6 km long circular route through the village. It leads you back to the Neckar Valley cycle path. The "yellow R" hiking trail marker takes you approx. 800 m down the Neckar to the last wild garlic sign at the entrance to the forest.
