The Schmeiental - a leisurely circular hike into the idyllic side valley
The Danube - pure nature!
The Schmeie is a tributary of the Danube and flows into it between Inzigkofen and Dietfurt. In the upper reaches, however, the Schmeie is called "Schmiecha". It has its source near Albstadt-Onstmettingen in the Swabian Alb. From Straßberg it is called the Schmeie.
The tour is marked as a local circular route "An der Schmeie". You can follow this sign. It is also easy to find almost all the way. The local circular hiking trails are signposted with green direction signs at the crossroads and marked with a yellow circle along the way.
