Route: Kronach, Knellendorf, Gundelsdorf, Haig, Bächlein, Neundorf, Mitwitz, Leutendorf, Schmölz, Tüschnitz, Küps, Krienesschneidmühle, Au, Neuses, Kronach: (*)

Route Description: Coming from Kronach train station, we cross the pedestrian crossing and keep left until we reach the Haßlach river. Then we follow the cycle path in a northerly direction, initially along the Haßlach. Later, the route continues on the cycle path along the railway line in the Haßlach valley to the north, up to Gundelsdorf. From here, we continue on local roads to Haig, through the small village of Bächlein, through dense forest to Neundorf and Mitwitz. From the water castle, the cycle path runs flat to the district of Leutendorf. From here, it is uphill to the middle of the village of Schmölz and up again to the sports ground. From here, it's all downhill through Tüschnitz to Küps. Here, the route crosses the B 173 and with a short climb, you reach the old town center of Küps with the church and the castle. After the church, keep left and a little later left again. Continuously on flat cycle paths, through meadows and fields, past Krienesschneidmühle, the tour continues to Neuses. In Neuses, turn right at the fountain in the town center onto Zollwehrsteig and follow it to the bridge over the Rodach (Zollschersteg). Shortly after, you reach the entrance of Kronach and turn left into the former Landesgartenschaupark, which you cross completely. At the end of the Landesgartenschaupark, near Plessiturm, cross the Black Bridge on the left and return to the starting point, the train station in Kronach, (*)
