Directions: From our starting point, the hiking parking lot in the center of Hohenfurch, we follow the Schönach towards the east. Passing by the Hohenfurch parish church and the Schönachhof inn, after a gentle ascent, we reach the late Gothic St. Ursula Chapel. We hike along the forest and eventually turn left into the Liberalswald. On the quiet forest path, we reach the junction that leads up to the Schwalbenstein. From here, we can enjoy the view of the nearby Alps mountain range. The path now leads us further in a northern direction along the steep bank of the Lech. Finally, we turn left. The path leads us back out of the forest to our starting point.
