Author's tip: In early summer, lovers of rare plants in particular get their money's worth. At the end of May / beginning of June, not only lily of the valley and lady's slipper bloom, but also many other rather rare flowers.

Way description: The starting point of our hike is the parking lot at the Roatherhaus in Bruggen. After a few minutes' walk, we reach the village center and the church of St. Stephan. We walk along the outskirts of Burggen and reach the Forchenwald forest. We now follow the Steinbach stream to the LechErlebnisWeg trail and reach the northern steep bank of the Lech, which is still wild here. From numerous points, we can always catch a glimpse of the Litzauer Schleife nature reserve and the Alpine panorama. We soon leave the LechErlebnisWeg again and walk north along the Via Claudia Augusta through a small raised bog and green meadows back to Burggen.
