Panoramarunde Steingaden

Author's tip: The Welfenmünster in Steingaden is one of the most popular sights in the Pfaffenwinkel region.

Way description: We start the tour in Steingaden at the hiking board in front of the tourist information office and walk northwest on Krankenhausstraße. At the crossroads, we take the right-hand path and come to the Storchenmoosweiher pond. We pass the lake on the north-eastern shore and walk to an inconspicuous wayside cross, which is located at a wonderful vantage point. The far-reaching view of the Alps will accompany us all the way to the Lech reservoir. Here you can extend your hike and hike the Lechsee circular trail (6.5 km). The cool water promises to be wonderfully refreshing in warm temperatures. We then take the path to Urspring. We walk through the village, an idyllic stream valley, and take the road to the east. On this path, we come to another fantastic viewpoint on the Egg before returning to Steingaden.
