Gögerlrunde

We start our tour at the parking lot below the Gögerl forest restaurant and walk along a panoramic trail on Weilheim's local mountain, the Gögerl. From the hiking trails, you have a beautiful panoramic view of the hilly Alpine foothills with their abundance of forests and meadows. In fine weather, however, the landscape is dominated by the mighty Alpine chain to the south with the impressive Zugspitze. Not far from the hiker, the almost majestic Hoher Peißenberg rises up in the west. A view to the north takes us over the radome of Raisting with its numerous parabolic mirrors as far as the Ammersee. From the panoramic trail, you dive into the forests of the Hechenberg. On the forest paths and gravel paths on the mountain, we pass the village of Deutenhausen. From there we return to the starting point. The magnificent and long-lasting view of Weilheim will remain in your memory for a long time. You can relax in the Gögerl forest restaurant, where you can reflect on the impressions you have gained and enjoy the beautiful view from the terrace.

Play and adventure stations around the former Gögerlburg castle, the remains of the Hechenberg rampart and the legend of the Gögerlfräulein bring history to life in a fun way for children.
