Description by the author

Start in Steingaden, Kissinger parking lot (free of charge). The route leads via Riesen to Butzau. Cross the B17 in an easterly direction and continue on gravel paths (Schmauzenberg climb) towards Rottenbuch. From there uphill to the Schönegger Käsealm (refreshment stop) with a wonderful panorama. Downhill past the Schwaigsee (swimming opportunity) in the direction of Morgenbach and Wildsteig. From there continue in the direction of Schwarzenbach. After a detour to the Wieskirche, past the Landvolkshochschule to Litzau and back to Steingaden.
