Winterwanderung - Kreuzberg-Rundweg

The hike starts at the hiking board opposite the Tourist Information. Cross the road at the pedestrian lights and walk past the war memorial to the market square (fountain, historic Welfenmünster).

Continue right through the archway, past the monastery garden, along Welfenstraße, after the sawmill (timber yard) along the Mühlbach stream, then on the sidewalk along the B 17. At the end of the village, turn left and follow the signs to the district of Schlatt and the Kreuzbergkirche church. You then return to Steingaden via Gogel.

The circular route is cleared in winter - except for the short section along the Mühlbach stream. If there is snow, you can walk from the Raiffeisenbank on the sidewalk along the B 17.

Equipment: Please wear sturdy, suitable footwear.
