Way description:

We start our tour at the church square in Weilheim and first make a detour to the parish church of St. Pölten. We then head towards Polling via the Prälatenweg, where we first walk through the district of St. Jakob and then on to Polling Abbey. The entire village center with its numerous historic buildings is well worth seeing. After a tour of the village, the path leads us west to the Ammer. We walk along the course of the river for a while and cross the main road. From here we walk uphill to the Berghof farm, where we keep right and continue downhill. After a few more farms and the Patrona Bavariae Ficht chapel, we cross another hill and reach the Habergasse to the Berghalde. Here we can make a worthwhile detour to the Knappenkapelle chapel and the meditation trail. If we continue on our way, we reach Peißenberg shortly afterwards, turn right onto a path directly at the entrance to the village and follow the Fichter Weg to the parish garden and St. Johann church. In Peißenberg, it is worth making a detour to the baroque pilgrimage church of Maria Aich, which is well worth seeing.
