Water rats ahoy! From Lake Starnberg to small ponds and lakes to the Osterseen lakes, the refreshing water shimmers between the trees every few kilometers. If the entire route is too long for you, you can easily shorten the tour at several points or combine it with a boat trip on Lake Starnberg. Mount up! From Bernried, the route winds through shady forests to the Nußberger Weiher, always slightly uphill - downhill. Next stops: via the small ponds of Oppenried, Wolfetsried, Arnried (tip: make a detour to the beautifully situated Haarsee) and Ludwigsried to Stadler Weiher. A forest path leads from the parking lot at the pond to Tradfranz, where the route continues towards Hohenkasten and then Neuried. From there via Gröben and Steinebach to Iffeldorf. Promising: the idyllic Osterseen lakes. Don't get weak now! The cycle path escorts the main road to Penzberg, where it's worth taking a dip in the wave pool. From there, follow the signs to Wölfl and Wolfratshausen. Out through the Raindl district, slightly downhill through Unter.Maxkron. The striking church tower of Nantesbuch points the way. And the next bathing opportunity beckons, the Eitzenberger Weiher. Wow, what a view! Continue via the St. Eurach golf course towards Sanimoor, Schechen and Lake Starnberg comes into view again at St. Heinrich. Into Seeshaupt and from here on the Prälatenweg back to the starting point in Bernried.
